ABC Capital Bank Uganda

ABC Capital Bank Uganda Limited is a Tier II credit institution in Uganda licensed by the Bank of Uganda, the country's central bank and national banking regulator. The bank is transitioning from a traditional commercial bank to a digital-led Tier II bank focused on serving retail customers and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Originally founded as a microfinance institution, ABC Capital Bank has evolved through multiple stages to become a specialized banking institution. The bank is a subsidiary of ABC Bank (Kenya), which serves as its strategic banking partner and investor. As of December 2022, the bank held total assets valued at approximately UGX 62.14 billion.
