About Caisse Populaire de Colsama in Burkina Faso

Caisse Populaire de Colsama is a cooperative savings and credit institution operating in Burkina Faso. It is one of the 32 affiliated member caisses (credit unions) of the Réseau des Caisses Populaires du Burkina (RCPB), the largest and oldest microfinance network in the country. The caisse serves the communities of arrondissements 6 and 7 in the commune of Bobo-Dioulasso, as well as the rural communes of Péni and Toussiana in the Houet province, Hauts-Bassins region.

As of December 2023, Caisse Populaire de Colsama reported approximately 30,950 cooperative members, 7 billion FCFA in savings, 4.5 billion FCFA in outstanding loans, and 42 permanent staff members.
