About Bank Kaltimtara in Indonesia

Bank Kaltimtara is a regional development bank (Bank Pembangunan Daerah) serving both East Kalimantan (Kalimantan Timur) and North Kalimantan (Kalimantan Utara) provinces in Indonesia. Operating under the full name PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Timur dan Kalimantan Utara, the bank is a Regional Government-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) jointly owned by the provincial governments of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan, along with regency and city governments throughout both provinces.

The bank is supervised by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia, and participates in the deposit insurance program managed by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) with coverage up to Rp 2 billion per customer per bank.
