About Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank in India
Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank (MPGB) is a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) serving the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh, India. As of May 1, 2025, it represents the unified banking entity for the entire state of Madhya Pradesh under the Government of India's "One State, One RRB" policy.
The bank was formed through the amalgamation of two predecessor Regional Rural Banks: the original Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank (previously formed in April 2019) and Madhyanchal Gramin Bank. With approximately 1,320 branches across rural Madhya Pradesh, MPGB stands as one of India's largest regional rural banks by branch network.
