Bank Muscat

Bank Muscat is the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman and the largest bank in the country by assets and market capitalization. Headquartered in Muscat, the bank provides comprehensive financial services including corporate banking, retail banking, investment banking, Islamic banking, treasury, private banking, and asset management. As of 2022, Bank Muscat serves more than 2 million customers through 174 branches and over 800 points of interaction including ATMs, cash deposit machines, and full-function machines.

With assets worth approximately $31.9 billion as of 2018, Bank Muscat commands a market share of 38% of total banking assets in Oman. The bank is listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange with the Oman government holding 27.31% as the major shareholder. Bank Muscat was recognized among the top 30 banks in the Middle East region by Forbes Middle East in 2022.
