Banca IFIS (Istituto di Finanziamento e Sconto) is an Italian specialty finance bank specializing in lending services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), factoring, and the acquisition and servicing of non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios. Founded in 1983 and listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (FTSE Italia STAR segment) since 2003, the bank has evolved into a major player in Italian commercial and corporate banking.

With approximately €13.5 billion in total assets, net profit of €161.6 million in 2024, and operating in multiple European countries including Italy, Romania, and Poland, Banca IFIS holds approximately 4.2% market share in Italian factoring and is the sixth-largest national operator in the NPL segment.
