İstanbul Takas ve Saklama Bankası, commonly known as Takasbank, is Turkey's central clearing, settlement, and custody bank for capital markets. The bank provides clearing and settlement services for securities transactions, acts as a central counterparty (CCP) for various markets, and offers custody services for investment and pension funds. Takasbank is majority-owned by Borsa Istanbul.
Takasbank operates critical financial market infrastructure including securities settlement systems, payment systems, and collateral management platforms. The bank also serves as Turkey's national numbering agency for securities, allocating ISIN and CFI codes.
