About Bangko Montañosa in the Philippines
Bangko Montañosa is a rural bank serving communities in the Cordillera region and Cagayan Valley of the Philippines. Originally established as the Rural Bank of Tabuk in 1971, the institution rebranded to Bangko Montañosa in 2018 to reflect its expanded mission of serving the historic "Old Montanosa" region. As the first rural bank in Kalinga and Apayao provinces, it has played a pioneering role in bringing financial services to the mountainous regions of Northern Luzon.
