Agricu­ltural Bank of Egypt

Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) is a state-owned specialized agricultural bank and one of the largest agricultural banks in the Arab world and Middle East. The bank focuses primarily on financing and supporting Egypt's agricultural sector while also providing comprehensive banking services to rural and urban communities. It is wholly owned by the Egyptian government and operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of Egypt.

With over 1,200 branches and village banks spread across Egypt, ABE serves approximately 3 to 4 million farmers and rural dwellers. The bank employs around 17,000 staff members and has established itself as a critical development institution for agricultural activity throughout the country.
