Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) is Morocco's central banking entity within the BCP Group, also known as Groupe Banque Populaire or Chaabi. As of 2024, it is Morocco's second-largest banking group by market capitalization, behind Attijariwafa Bank and ahead of Bank of Africa.
BCP serves as both a credit institution and the central coordinating body for eight regional banks known as Banques Populaires Régionales. The bank operates comprehensive financial services spanning retail banking, corporate banking, specialized financial services, and capital markets. BCP is publicly traded on the Casablanca Stock Exchange and has historically maintained Morocco's largest deposit base.
