The institution operates as a member-owned financial cooperative providing savings, credit, and related financial services to its members in the Marcona district of Nazca province, Ica region. It is classified as a Level 2 asset institution under Peruvian cooperative regulations, with total assets greater than 600 UIT but less than or equal to 65,000 UIT.

The cooperative is regulated by the Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP (SBS) through the Superintendencia Adjunta de Cooperativas (SACOOP), in accordance with Law 26702 as modified by Law 30822.
