Burul-­Vozroz­hdenie Credit Union

Burul-Vozrozhdenie Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative operating in Kyrgyzstan. As part of the country's credit union sector, it provides financial services to rural and underserved communities. The institution is regulated by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, which supervises all credit unions in the country.

Credit unions in Kyrgyzstan emerged as key suppliers of rural finance following the introduction of the legal framework by Presidential Decree in November 1995. The sector experienced significant growth through the Asian Development Bank's Rural Finance Institutions Project, initiated in 1997, which established credit unions across all regions of the country.
