Saigon Commercial Bank (SCB), officially known as Sai Gon Joint Stock Commercial Bank (Vietnamese: Ngân hàng Thương mại cổ phần Sài Gòn), is Vietnam's largest commercial bank by assets. Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, SCB was formed in 2012 through the consolidation of three smaller banks and has grown to become a major financial institution serving over 300,000 customers through its nationwide network.
The bank has been at the center of significant financial scrutiny due to a major fraud scandal and has been under state control since 2022.
