About Tunis International Bank in Tunisia

Tunis International Bank (TIB) is a private non-resident commercial bank based in Tunisia. Established as the first fully licensed banking corporation in Tunisia dedicated to serving non-resident clients, TIB specializes in providing international financial services to corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals both in Tunisia and abroad.

The bank is a member of the Burgan Bank Group, with its main shareholder being Burgan Bank K.P.S.C. of Kuwait (86.7% ownership), which is a subsidiary of the Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) "KIPCO". As of 2024, TIB reported consolidated total assets of approximately US$660 million.

TIB's traditional marketplace encompasses the Maghreb countries, with strategic operations extending to Western Europe and Mediterranean countries. The bank maintains a strong focus on supporting non-resident companies, particularly subsidiaries of international groups conducting business in North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
