ICCREA Banca is the central credit institution and parent bank of the BCC Iccrea Group, Italy's largest cooperative banking network and the country's fourth-largest banking group overall. Headquartered in Rome, ICCREA Banca coordinates and supports over 115 cooperative credit banks (Banche di Credito Cooperativo, or BCCs) distributed throughout Italy with more than 2,600 branches. The institution provides management, coordination, control, corporate financing, institutional credit, securities administration, payment services, and technological infrastructure for the entire cooperative banking group, which holds approximately €175 billion in consolidated assets.
