Tropical Bank Limited (TBL) is a commercial bank in Uganda that provides financial services to individuals, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), corporates, parastatals, and non-governmental organizations. The bank is jointly owned by the Libyan Foreign Bank (95.60%) and the Government of Uganda (4.40%). As of December 2022, Tropical Bank held total assets of approximately UGX 281 billion (approximately $75 million USD), making it a small to medium-sized financial services provider in Uganda's banking sector.
