Banco Pichincha is the largest private-sector bank in Ecuador by capitalization and number of depositors. It is the primary bank of the Pichincha Group (Grupo Pichincha), serving as the flagship institution of a business group that includes companies such as Diners Club of Ecuador and various financial service subsidiaries. As of 2022, the bank has 1.8 million customers in Ecuador, $15.5 billion in assets, $10.5 billion in gross loans, and $12.3 billion in deposits.
The bank operates more than 200 branches throughout the country and maintains an international presence through subsidiaries in Peru, Colombia, and Panama, as well as an agency in Miami and representative offices in Spain.
