Caja Popular Progreso García

Caja Popular Progreso García is a savings and credit cooperative (Sociedad Cooperativa de Ahorro y Préstamo - SOCAP) operating in Mexico. As a member-owned financial cooperative, it provides accessible savings and loan services to its members in the southern region of Zacatecas. The institution is authorized and supervised by the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV), Mexico's banking and securities regulator, ensuring it operates within the regulatory framework governing cooperative financial institutions.

The cooperative is registered with CONDUSEF (National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services). It offers deposit insurance up to 25,000 UDIs (Investment Units, approximately 212,000 Mexican pesos) per member through the Fondo de Protección (Protection Fund).
