About Bank of Kunlun in China
Bank of Kunlun is a Chinese commercial bank formerly known as Karamay City Commercial Bank, which was restructured in 2009 following a capital injection from China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The bank has grown from a small regional institution into a national urban commercial bank with distinctive characteristics, serving primarily the petroleum and petrochemical industry chain. As of 2020, the bank had total assets of RMB 349.9 billion and employed 3,377 people across 83 branches.
