About Sparkasse Sense in Switzerland
Sparkasse Sense (officially Clientis Sparkasse Sense) is a Swiss regional bank serving the Sense district (Sensebezirk) in canton Fribourg. Founded in 1863 by 13 Sense region municipalities, it is the only regional bank headquartered in canton Fribourg and remains owned by its founding municipalities.
As of December 2024, the bank manages total assets of CHF 508 million with approximately 10 full-time equivalent employees. The bank is organized as a public-law institution (öffentlichrechtliche Anstalt) and is a member of the Clientis banking group.
