Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) is one of Germany's leading commercial banks and a designated Landesbank. It is a public corporation majority-owned by the federal states of Lower Saxony (59%) and Saxony-Anhalt (6%), with regional savings banks holding a 35% stake.

NORD/LB specializes in corporate and institutional banking, with particular expertise in renewable energy finance, infrastructure projects, commercial real estate, and aircraft financing. The bank serves as the state bank for Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt and functions as a central clearing institution for approximately 70 savings banks across four German federal states.
