TRU Federal Credit Union (TRU FCU)

TRU Federal Credit Union (TRU FCU) is a community-focused federal credit union serving members in South Carolina's Upstate region. Formerly known as Greenwood Municipal Federal Credit Union, the institution rebranded to TRU FCU in January 2025 to better reflect its core values of Trust, Respect, and Unity. With approximately $66.6 million in assets and over 7,100 members, TRU FCU operates two branches in Greenwood and three innovative student-run branches in local high schools.

The credit union specializes in providing personalized financial services to residents, workers, students, and businesses across six rural counties in South Carolina.
