Cooperativa Fernheim Ltda.

Cooperativa Fernheim Ltda. is a multiactive cooperative that serves as both a production entity and a financial institution in Paraguay. Operating from its administrative center in Filadelfia, Boquerón Department in the Paraguayan Chaco, the cooperative was established to serve the Mennonite community and has evolved into a comprehensive cooperative offering agricultural, commercial, and financial services. With more than 2,000 members, it is recognized nationally as a diversified cooperative spanning production, services, and savings and credit operations.

The cooperative holds the distinction of being the first cooperative established in Paraguay. It operates across multiple business lines including agriculture, cattle raising, industrial production (peanuts, sesame, and meat processing), retail services, and financial intermediation as a savings and credit cooperative.
