Asahis­himbun Credit Cooperative

Asahishimbun Credit Cooperative is an occupational credit cooperative (shinkumi) in Japan that serves employees and entities within the Asahi Shimbun Group. Operating as a non-profit mutual aid financial institution, it provides banking services exclusively to members of the Asahi Shimbun media conglomerate, which includes one of Japan's largest and most respected newspapers.

As a shinkumi bank, Asahishimbun Credit Cooperative operates under the principle of mutual assistance among its members. It is one of 143 credit cooperatives in Japan supervised by the Financial Services Agency.
