About Sicredi Gerações RS/MG in Brazil
Sicredi Gerações RS/MG (Cooperativa de Crédito Gerações - Sicredi Gerações RS/MG) is a credit cooperative that resulted from the merger of two established cooperatives: Sicredi Centro Leste RS and Sicredi CrediGrande MG. The union was approved by member assemblies in December 2023 and homologated by the Central Bank of Brazil on February 22, 2024, with integrated operations beginning on March 9, 2024.
As part of the Sicredi System, Brazil's first cooperative financial institution with over 120 years of history, Sicredi Gerações RS/MG operates with dual administrative headquarters in Cachoeira do Sul (Rio Grande do Sul) and Lavras (Minas Gerais), serving 36 municipalities across these two states.
