The Johoku Shinkin Bank

The Johoku Shinkin Bank is one of the largest shinkin banks (credit cooperatives) in Japan, headquartered in Tokyo. With total assets exceeding 2.9 trillion yen, it serves small and medium-sized enterprises and individual residents primarily in northern Tokyo and southern Saitama Prefecture.

As a cooperative financial institution, the bank operates under the principle of mutual support among its members. As of March 2024, the bank had approximately 1,816 employees and officers, operating 90 branches including 7 sub-branches.
