It is a member-owned financial institution that provides savings, credit, production, consumption, and services to its members. As a multiactivity cooperative (Cooperativa Multiactiva), it combines multiple functions including agricultural production support, financial services, and community services under one cooperative structure.
The cooperative is registered with and supervised by the Instituto Nacional de Cooperativismo (INCOOP), Paraguay's national cooperative regulatory authority.
