Nusenda Credit Union

Nusenda Credit Union is a federally-chartered credit union headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As the largest credit union in New Mexico by both membership and assets, Nusenda serves over 288,000 members with approximately $4.8 billion in total assets as of 2025.

Originally founded to serve educators, the credit union has expanded its membership to include employees and affiliates of more than 600 local businesses, systems, and organizations across the Southwest. Nusenda operates as a not-for-profit financial cooperative, returning earnings to members through higher savings rates, lower loan rates, and unique member benefit programs.
