Gibraltar Intern­ational Bank

Gibraltar International Bank (GIB) is a government-owned retail and commercial bank serving the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. Established as Gibraltar's only truly local commercial bank, GIB was created to fill a critical gap in the local banking market and provide essential financial services to the territory's approximately 30,000 residents and its thriving business community. The bank operates as an independent commercial entity with over 100 employees, serving more than 18,000 personal and corporate customers.

GIB is wholly owned by the Government of Gibraltar but operates independently under the oversight of an experienced board of directors. The bank was designed from inception as a digital-first institution, moving away from traditional manual retail banking to embrace modern technology and provide accessible, efficient banking solutions.
