Banco del Chubut

Banco del Chubut is the most important financial institution in Chubut Province, Argentina. It is a state-owned commercial bank with a regional focus, operating as a joint-stock company (Sociedad Anónima) with majority state participation. The bank serves as the official financial agent of the provincial government, managing public sector payroll, pensions, social programs, and official deposits.

With the largest territorial coverage in the province, reaching approximately 90% of residents, Banco del Chubut maintains 26 branches across the region, including locations in Rawson, Comodoro Rivadavia, Trelew, Puerto Madryn, and Esquel. The bank also operates a branch in Buenos Aires.
