About Sicoob Credivale in Brazil
Sicoob Credivale was a Brazilian credit cooperative originally founded to serve employees of Vale S.A., one of the world's largest mining companies. Operating as part of the Sistema de Cooperativas de Crédito do Brasil (Sicoob), it provided financial services to approximately 9,500 members in Minas Gerais and Pará. The cooperative operated under the principle of mutual credit, where members were both customers and co-owners.
