FECOSOL (Federación de Cooper­ativas Solidarias)

FECOSOL (Federación de Cooperativas Solidarias) is a second-degree cooperative federation in Paraguay that brings together solidarity cooperatives across the country. As a federation, FECOSOL operates as an integration entity that represents and supports its member cooperatives, providing them with coordination, representation, and technical assistance services.

FECOSOL is part of Paraguay's broader cooperative movement, which includes over 800 cooperatives serving 1.8 million members—representing approximately 51% of the economically active population. The federation specifically focuses on solidarity cooperatives, which emphasize social and economic mutual support among their members.
