About Ecster in Finland
Ecster is the Finnish branch of the Swedish credit institution Ecster AB. Operating as "Ecster AB, filialverksamheten i Finland," this branch provided consumer credit and payment services to customers in Finland as part of Ecster's Nordic operations. The branch is supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanssivalvonta).
Following Handelsbanken's decision to wind down Ecster's operations, the Finnish branch ceased accepting new customers and stopped offering new financial products effective November 1, 2023.
