Credip­rodesp

Crediprodesp (Cooperativa de Economia e Crédito Mútuo dos Trabalhadores da Companhia de Processamento de Dados do Estado de São Paulo) is a specialized credit union in Brazil that serves employees and retirees of Prodesp, the state data processing company of São Paulo. As a closed-bond credit cooperative, it operates exclusively for members of the Prodesp workforce community.

The cooperative functions as a mutual financial institution where members are simultaneously owners and users of financial services. Unlike traditional banks that distribute profits to external shareholders, Crediprodesp returns surplus earnings to its members through capital interest and profit sharing proportional to their operations with the cooperative.
