Hypo (formally Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistys, or The Mortgage Society of Finland) is a specialized Finnish credit institution focused exclusively on housing finance. As Finland's only independent mortgage society, Hypo operates outside of traditional banking and financial conglomerates.
