Sicoob Coopsef

Sicoob Coopsef is a credit cooperative (cooperativa de crédito) operating in Brazil as part of the Sicoob system, the largest cooperative financial system in the country. Originally established to serve employees of the State Treasury Secretariat of Minas Gerais (Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda), the cooperative has evolved into a free admission institution, now welcoming both individuals and legal entities as members.

With approximately 7,000 member-owners distributed across all regions of Minas Gerais, Sicoob Coopsef operates as a regulated financial institution under the supervision of the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil). As a cooperative, members are not just clients but co-owners who participate in decision-making and share in the institution's financial results.
