Public Workers' Co-ope­rative Credit Union (PWCCUL)

Public Workers' Co-operative Credit Union (PWCCUL) is a member-owned financial co-operative serving government employees and their families in The Bahamas. Originally established to serve employees of the Government of the Bahamas and public corporations, PWCCUL has evolved into what it describes as "The Family Credit Union."

The credit union operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of The Bahamas and is registered with the Department of Co-operatives. As of October 23, 2023, PWCCUL transitioned to an open bond membership structure, expanding eligibility to include any employee who meets qualification requirements for membership.
