BCR Banca pentru Locuințe (BCR BpL) is a specialized Romanian savings and loan institution focused exclusively on housing finance. As a subsidiary of Banca Comercială Română (BCR), which holds 99.99% of its share capital, BCR BpL operates within the BCR Group and is ultimately majority-owned by Austria's Erste Group Bank AG. The bank specializes in the bauspar (building savings) model, offering collective savings-and-loan contracts designed to help Romanian individuals and families finance home purchases, construction, renovation, and energy efficiency improvements.

As of December 31, 2024, BCR Banca pentru Locuințe maintained a portfolio of 8,353 savings-loan contracts with total savings deposits valued at approximately 88.6 million RON. The institution is regulated by the National Bank of Romania and participates in Romania's deposit guarantee scheme (FGDB), which protects eligible deposits up to the RON equivalent of €100,000 per depositor.
