About The Ibaraki-ken Credit Cooperative in Japan
The Ibaraki-ken Credit Cooperative is one of Japan's largest regional credit cooperatives (shinkin kumiai), headquartered in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Commonly known as "Kenshin," it is one of only two regional credit cooperatives in Japan with deposits exceeding 1 trillion yen.
As a cooperative financial institution, it serves members throughout Ibaraki Prefecture with a strong focus on community economic development. As of March 31, 2025, the bank maintained total deposits of 1.2787 trillion yen and total assets reaching significant scale.
