As part of the Sicoob system, Brazil's largest cooperative financial network, Lagoacred Gerais serves over 37,500 members as of October 2024. The cooperative emerged from the needs of local merchants in Lagoa da Prata seeking better financial assistance, credit access, and services aligned with cooperative principles.
