Sicoob Amazônia

Sicoob Amazônia is a credit cooperative (cooperativa de crédito) operating in Brazil's northern region as part of the larger Sicoob system. Originally founded as Sicoob Buritis, the cooperative has grown to serve over 60,000 members across three states in northern Brazil. With assets exceeding R$ 1.5 billion, Sicoob Amazônia combines traditional cooperative banking principles with modern financial services, emphasizing member ownership and community development.

The cooperative operates 30 service points including branches, digital service points, and electronic service points throughout its region. As a member-owned institution, cooperados (members) are not merely clients but co-owners who participate in decision-making and share in the cooperative's financial results.
