Aomori Michinoku Bank, Ltd. is a Japanese regional bank headquartered in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, in the Tohoku region of northern Japan. The bank was formed on January 1, 2025, through the merger of two long-standing rival regional banks: Aomori Bank and Michinoku Bank.
With combined assets exceeding 3.6 trillion yen and a commanding market share of approximately 80% for both deposits and loans in Aomori Prefecture, it is the largest and only bank based in the prefecture. The bank is publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TYO: 8342) and operates as a subsidiary of Procrea Holdings, Inc.
