Cooperativa Multiactiva Neuland Ltda. is a multi-service cooperative in Paraguay that provides financial services, industrial operations, and community services to its members. The cooperative is rooted in the Mennonite colony of Neuland, located in the Chaco Paraguayo region, and serves the descendants of Mennonite pioneers who founded the colony in 1947.
The name "Neuland" means "New Land" in German, reflecting the pioneering spirit of the original settlers. As a multi-active cooperative, Neuland operates across multiple sectors including savings and credit, agricultural production, meat processing through its own industrial refrigeration facilities, and various community services. The cooperative is registered with Paraguay's Instituto Nacional de Cooperativismo (INCOOP) and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
As of December 2024, the cooperative manages total assets of approximately Gs. 1.6 trillion (approximately $208 million USD), making it one of the significant cooperative institutions in Paraguay.
