Educators Credit Union (TX) is a state-chartered community credit union based in Waco, Texas, serving residents of nine Central Texas counties. With over 27,000 members and approximately $582 million in assets, it is one of the largest credit unions in the Central Texas region.
Originally founded to serve the education community, the credit union expanded its membership in 2005 to welcome anyone living, working, worshiping, or attending school in its service area. Despite its broader reach, the education community remains the foundation of its membership base.
