I've been transferring money to/from exchanges from my Halifax account with zero issues. I have also bought crypto with my debit card and had no problem as well. All transactions under £2,000 just to be clear

Bank account closed for evidence of crypto trades.

Have been cashing out small amounts (£3k max) from Coinbase to Halifax for over a year now, no problems.
