Capital Merchant Banking & Finance Limited (CMBFL) is a defunct Class C finance company that was based in Nepal. The institution was declared a problematic financial institution by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) in January 2013 and has been prohibited from conducting banking transactions since that date.
As of mid-July 2020, all branches of CMBFL had been closed. Prior to its designation as problematic, CMBFL operated as a national-level finance company providing deposit, lending, and other financial services throughout Nepal.
