Simple was an American neobank that operated as a digital-only banking platform based in Portland, Oregon. Recognized as the first neobank in the United States, Simple pioneered the challenger bank movement in America.

The company provided FDIC-insured checking accounts exclusively to U.S. citizens through banking partnerships, first with The Bancorp Bank and later with BBVA USA. Simple operated without physical branches, offering all services through its mobile app and website, and was part of the Allpoint network for surcharge-free ATM access across approximately 55,000 locations nationwide.
