Banpará (Banco do Estado do Pará S.A.) is a Brazilian regional state bank founded by the Pará state government. It operates as a sociedade de economia mista (mixed-capital company) with the State of Pará as the majority shareholder.
The bank serves primarily the banking needs of the state government, its employees, and the broader population of Pará. As of 2024, Banpará operates over 199 service units and has achieved 100% coverage across all 144 municipalities in Pará state, making it the only financial institution present in every municipality in the state.
