Strabane Credit Union

Strabane Credit Union is a community-based, not-for-profit financial cooperative serving members in the Strabane area of Northern Ireland. As one of the largest credit unions in Northern Ireland, it serves over 13,000 active members with approximately £30 million in member savings and reserves of nearly £5 million.

The institution operates on the principle of mutual self-help, where members save together and lend to each other at fair and reasonable rates of interest. It is owned and controlled by its members, distinguishing it from traditional commercial banks.
