First Scottish University Credit Union

First Scottish University Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial co-operative regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority in the United Kingdom. Originally established to serve employees of Edinburgh-based universities, the credit union has expanded its membership to include employees, students, and graduates from Scottish universities as well as family members of existing members. The organization operates on democratic principles with a volunteer Board of Directors, ensuring that all profits are reinvested to improve services for members rather than benefiting external shareholders.
